Dredge Sled Overview and Key Features
DSH-4000 is designed for efficient lagoon dredging and industrial pumping. Powered by a 4-inch high chrome EDDY Pump with a hydraulic motor, this dredge sled can handle solids up to 3.5 inches in diameter and transport 40-70% solids. It operates at flow rates ranging from 250 to 1200 GPM, with a head range of up to 160 feet. The included equipment features a floating dredge, a 300-ft traversing cable, a solar panel charging system for the lifting winch battery, remote-operated lifting winches, and a gas generator for the traversing land winch.
The Dredge Sled is engineered for high solids industrial pumping applications, outperforming centrifugal, vortex, and positive displacement pumps in the most challenging scenarios. It is ideal for mining, lagoon dredging, sand and aggregate operations, shallow industrial ponds, dams, fly ash, and coal ash removal. The dredge sled is designed to pump sludge, slurry, bio-sludge, mine tailings, minerals, and sand mixtures with high viscosity, specific gravity, abrasiveness, and low pH.
Specifications and Applications
The DREDGE SLED has an operational capacity of 75-150 cubic yards of material per hour, powered by a 125HP hydraulic motor. It weighs 3,307 lbs without the pump, with dimensions of 9.8 feet in length, 5.6 feet in height, and 12.5 feet in width. The dredge sled can operate at depths ranging from 1.6 to 16 feet. Optional equipment includes a wireless Doppler flow meter, discharge line pressure gauge, and high-pressure jetting ring to enhance the dredging operation.
